For many years, we have been watching the decline of the regions we visit as a result of resource development. Particularly memorable was Yubari City in Hokkaido, where our first project was carried out. The once-prosperous mining town was now considered a marginal village, and local stakeholders held a film festival to revitalize the area. Our company representative felt the same atmosphere in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, where he owns a private property, and explored what he could do, starting with holding a similar film festival. This is the Toba International Film Festival, known as “TIFF 2 & 4”. Please participate by submitting a film or viewing it. See you at TIFF2&4 “TOBA International Film Festival” – FilmFreeway
